Not the most exciting of pics but had the second op on my ankle today, went well according to the surgeon so hopefully I'll be able to walk normally again soon and not look at having to buy automatic bikes and maxi scooters
Thanks all, considering the invasive work I've had it feels ok, it might be a bit worse tomorrow when the drugs wear off
The hardest bit is going to be finding things to keep me occupied for the next month and a half whilst off work, I'd better step away from ebay as I'm thinking of new additions in the garage already.

Your life will turn into ordering and then looking forward to the postman coming with something shiny of you don't.
Normally don't have high expectations of mesh radiator guards (have used sheet mesh from B&Q on previous bikes), but I decided to buy this one from Wunderlich for the GS. Opened it from the packaging to fit, and was presented with the most exquisite louvred rad guard made from anodised ally with laser cut rounded stainless filament diamond mesh. Even the back side showed the mesh held in place by the folded frame, with no unsightly glue etc. Exquisite for a part that doesn't get seen.
