Rider lost the front end at 120+kph, bike slide, bounced and landed on swing arm bobbin:

We found another swing and swapped them over during the night and we finished 3rd and 4th in class the next day.

Hopefully now my filler cap won't get stuck closed when I'm miles from home...

Excellent. I'll just siphon your fuel and leave you stranded at the roadside miles from the nearest station wink

laugh

Too much, they are advertised at 65 quid, but then plus vat and delivery it bumped it up to 90.

That's a bit mental really. Projection components do one for £25 that looks the same but doesn't say Harris on.

To be fair a lot of them are more than you paid. I'm just cheap and wanted something that looked more presentable than the scratched to buggery standard one.

Looking good Graham, was it easy to fit?

Yes, would have been easier if I didn't lose a tiny O-ring.

The bolts go through a spacer under the flange of the cap, then through the O-ring. I'm hoping that their only function is to hold the spacer on the bolt to make it easier to align them all with the threads.

I only lost one so wasn't too difficult to fit.

This was a work team building thing 11 years ago.

We had to follow the instructors at a frankly snails pace for 2 laps then off track to be told how to sit on a bike, cue me getting the right arse when he told me to sit on the bike, take my hands off the bars and lean forward and off the bike.

Not at all possible with One leg. I honestly had the right arse that day.
