Congratulations Tony she's a beauty, you'll be right up there on that instead of flogging the arse off that old R1.

Go get them Tiger.
Cheers John

Its too nice to ride. I might pretend its a Ducati and just polish it

I just went up the M1 on my polished ducati ornament, the cold felt like the sharp point of a knife pressing against the middle of my uncovered neck (didn't do my jacket up all the way - summer rider lol).

It was a pleasure to see the contented look on Tony's face last night when myself and Ryan pitched up at Simon's to get curried and beered. The bike and spares package is gorgeous and great to see a plan come together as this one has, really pleased for you , it's a peach. Good to see you Tony and can't wait to see you out on it in the Spring...a
Good night out and all about the bikes !
Ps I'm pretty much sorted myself now too .

Some pics from todays classic show at Donnington, the GPZ600 had done 3000 odd miles, needed some TLC but I do have a soft spot for these...and the 750 Turbo..

Picked up my first project bike this morning.

£460, runs well with decent MOT. Bit of a bargain I reckon.

What are the plans?
I'm going for a complete strip down and restore I think.

Not doing it to make money, doing it to learn and enjoy a hobby.

I'm sure I'll make some mistakes along the way but that's why I wanted to make sure my first one was cheap to start with. smile

Have considered doing some kind of brat style special but think a restore is a bit more sensible at this stage.

At 31 years old she is the same age as me. smile

996.

And yes Biker's Nemesis she's too pretty for words. I'm bowled-over.

I don't think I can ride until the previous owner reassigns his private plate. So for the moment I'm just looking, pressing buttons and poring over the manual.
