My 600RR rebuild is going well.

New (ish) swingarm, shock, exhaust, pegs, rad, fan, fasteners, brake lines, etc, etc, lots of effort and swearing. There's a good bike under there somewhere...

Wow, thats a massive link pipe... reminds me of the hefty Arrow stage 3 system available for the 675.

I do like the 600RR... swingarm looks mean.

There should be a heatshield covering it, but i like seeing the exhaust so left it off. Hopefully nothing (incl me) will melt.

Swingarm is a work of art. I do like a good bit of metalwork! The old one was in a sorry state - powdercoating was mostly gone, plus the alloy was heavily pitted in places due to reaction with steel fasteners + salt. The new one came off a bike with 100 miles (converted to race bike), as did the exhaust and shock.

If these are genuine, it trebles the value of the bike!!

Some pics from todays classic show at Donnington, the GPZ600 had done 3000 odd miles, needed some TLC but I do have a soft spot for these...and the 750 Turbo..

What did you think to the show ? I went, for 1pm. By 1.30pm I was in my car heading home, after having seen everything .... :-/

996.

And yes Biker's Nemesis she's too pretty for words. I'm bowled-over.

I don't think I can ride until the previous owner reassigns his private plate. So for the moment I'm just looking, pressing buttons and poring over the manual.
It's over cold and salty to take a 996 out at the moment. We still need to get round to that ride though, warmer weather is coming!

Might have been mildly amusing if it wasn't for the horrendous spelling error.

Yes, quite right. But I would like the option of going for a little run around the block as the suspense is killing me! I need an excuse to get the Autoglym out.
Looking forward to warm weather and that rideout.

I was there for a few hours longer, i thought for the £5 entrance fee it was OK, enjoyed what was on display but it was a small show thats for sure... it beat being at home with the Mrs anyway..

Christ , are you for real ? Somebody posts a copied and pasted bike related "mildly " funny, to help break the ongoing dyno graph monotony and this is the best you can come out with ? It says rather more about you than me , genius.

Edited due to gross misspelling .....prick.
