How can this happen, I know its 'sales' for BMW but that is like a death sentence and shouldn't be allowed to happen, especially with the current state of the roads.

Almost getting there with my garage. I managed to get all sides painted so I just need to sort out some floor paint. Has anyone got any suggestions where to get some from that's cheapish.
Wilkinsons has some grey floor paint for 25 quid a tub but not sure if one will be enough.

Just got to fill a couple more gaps and sort the worktops out and it's ready for the track bikes arrival.

Also my view from work in 2013 on the right and just before winter 2014 on the left.

Tim, I would be reluctant to paint that floor.Looking at it I think you will have big problems getting it to 'key' to the concrete. It can never get sorted then. Floor tiles?

Ah will it chip off and not cover properly? I'm not too fussed about painting it or not it's an old garage I just thought it might look a bit cleaner.
I was planning on painting it and just sticking an old bit of carpet under each bike. I'm not sure I'm bothered about spending the money on tiles.

You can get Garage/Workshop specific Epoxy based paints that will go straight down on concrete. Usually that brick red colour. Impervious to oils, fuels, acids and alkaline, it'll outlast the garage!

I'd go down the matt route, these can be taken away when you move, plus they would be a lot more comfy on the knees.

This is the stuff I was going to sling down. Am I best doing a test corner that will be covered by units anyway or just not to take the risk?

I'm useless at diy. I just assumed it's floor paint...I'm painting a floor what could go wrong.

You need a base layer with that if im not mistaken, plus two tins to do a garage as it never covers what it says it does.

I wouldn't bother.

no offense but the painting of the walls looks st, leave it to the pro's cool

This was kind of what I was following from a thread elsewhere on here.

Although he did put up a picture recently and the paint has come up a bit after daily car use.

That was just floor sealant and then grey floor paint.
I think it looks alright.
Better than cobwebs and concrete

100 quid pads for 45

Amazing how thin they are.

My only concern is if I'll be quick enough for them to work.

Great pictures, which track is that? The 916 series, the best looking Dukes ever, IMHO. So many good memories in the South of France on it as well.

The worlds first downed 2015 S1000RR)s)?? ( 1 of 4 actually, same time, same place all bought together)

Definitely 2015, look where the gear linkage goes , almost vertical to a top link point, rather than almost horizontal on pre-15 models, that and the other bits mentioned ....
And yes, I know it has moved from where it once travelled from, but as stated - 2015.
