Moved house this weekend but managed to get garage sorted this afternoon and pull the bike to bits to start the rebuild

Come on what's the secret. How did you manage to get a pass off the Mrs to do that when you just moved house.

The force is strong in you biggrin

The house is pretty much finished, ran out of time to do the little bits and pieces as we couldn't get out to b&q as there was a bit of a fire in the factory up the road ( http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-cumbria-31787...) and our road was blocked by fire hoses so had a bit of spare time to sort the garage.

It is, although this garage is a third of the size of my last one but the house is twice as big so it makes up for it smile

What's the verdict Dr Jazoli? Will the patient live? Stable, but still in intensive care?

Aye it'll live, the tank, forks, main frame and wheels escaped unscathed, pretty much everything else didn't, all the spare parts needed have been bought, some have been fitted, I have repaired the exhaust by hitting it a few times with a hammer and re-rivetting the end cap back on, its badly dented but it'll do until the next crash, I have repaired the badly broken mudguard with Supa Fix (awesome stuff)

I will have to tackle the fairings and seat unit next, they are going to need a lot of work, I filled a few of the cracks in with Supa Fix (still awesome stuff) but couldn't get out to Halfords to pick up a GRP kit because of the aforementioned fire, then I will have to paint them.

Then all I need to do is send my leathers off to be repaired and buy a new pair of gloves, cheap trackbike my arse , current total is £700/mile! biggrin

Great day out on Saturday.

The ZXR400 came out of hibernation and it was great to hear all 14,000rpm again.

Under the light is ... another light.

Looking at the pic above, it looks like Honda have tried to disguise the second light now.

+1 on the colours.

Told you it as an expensive hobby and road riding is far better value for money in terms of pure cost.

What's up with your leathers? All of mine are a bit scuffed. It just adds to the aura of awesomeness hehe

First time on my bike since 1st November last year!

Was a bit windy round here, but mostly dry and the roads were still nice and quiet. Plus no dreaded midges to splatter themselves over your visor!

Took the new bike out to stretch its so far not very stretched legs.

How are you finding it? I was tempted by one of these as my first big bike.

Saw this at Newlands Corner yesterday. She looked like brand new, then you had a look at the clocks and she read 55k miles! Kudos to the owner if on here bow

Wow that is clean and it looks totally standard too. I'm trying read the logo on the rims but I can't zoom on this machine. I need new rims due to the dreaded black pin hole corrosion and they look perfect

This stuff http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uoLUSM9zdkA

It really is as good as it looks/sounds, just don't breathe the fumes when it cures.

And Loon my leathers have a 2p size hole in the arse from sliding along the track, I had to make sure I never turned my back to Yazza all day.

After 2.5 years of ownership and finally deciding its a keeper (after looking at the 2015 model) this is the first 'unnecessary' money I have spent on the S1000RR, I know its no louder and no more power but it looks nice and its light! smile
