I think I will have a set of them but does anyone know if they are road or race pattern shift or both, it doesn't say on the site
This line would make me think road and race possible for all but the RSV4.

"(Aprilia RSV4 fits APRC but only road shift is possible, to acheive
race shift, an aftermarket quickshift such as HM Racing must be used)"

Give them a call/ email to be sure:

T: (0191) 2671628
F: (0191) 2672918
Email: enquiries@diasec.co.uk

Anyway, this hint of sunshine is proving expensive already. These are on their way for £170 delivered!

They have just emailed to confirm road shift as for my bike (S1000RR) its the only way the quickshifter works, so just ordered a set, these are not Chinese are they smile

Tbh as long as they are solid I'm sure they will be fine. They don't need to be built to the precision required of levers.

Damn I missed out on genuine "meetallgood" rearsets?!

I have just ordered direct from Diamond so don't see how they can be Chinese copies based on this on there site when they are warning not to buy the copies?

Diamond racing rearsets

- STOCK CLEARANCE - END OF SEASON PRICE REDUCTIONS - FROM £250 TO A SHORT TERM OFFER OF £160 -

These are top of the range rearset kits by Diamond Race Products, as used by factory teams. CNC machined from aerospace 7075 T6 billeted aluminium., gear change & brake levers are fitted with sealed grease-packed bearings for ultra smooth movement. Footrest adjustment has 14 variable positions, gear change rod comes complete with R/H and L/H thread rose joints also rose joint for the brake master cylinder. We carry a full compliment of spares, i.e. footpegs, toepegs, rose joints, shift rods, pivot bearings etc.

These kits are beautifully finished in anodized black and perform as well as they look.
(Aprilia RSV4 fits APRC but only road shift is possible, to acheive
race shift, an aftermarket quickshift such as HM Racing must be used)

We beleive our rearsets are absolutely top of the range.

BEWARE! OUR REAR SET KITS AND OTHERS ARE BEING ILLEGALLY COPIED AND SHIPPED TO THE UK FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD.
FOR ALL WE HAVE RELEASED A NEW DESIGN AS THE OLD STYLE WAS COPIED, THIS ALL NEW DESIGN HAS BEEN COPIED ALREADY. IF YOU DONT BUY DIRECT FROM US, THEY WONT BE DIAMOND OR DIAMOND QUALITY.
WE ONLY DEAL WITH YOU THE CUSTOMER, DIRECT.

THE SPECIFICATION OF THE MATERIAL USED IN THESE CHEAP COPIES IS NOWHERE NEAR AEROSPACE QUALITY, THESE UNSCRUPULOUS PEOPLE DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT THE CATASTROPHIC CONSEQUENCES THAT COULD RESULT FROM SUCH A VITAL COMPONENT FAILING. THEY WILL SELL ANYTHING TO MAKE A FAST BUCK. THEY ALSO OMIT TO TELL YOU THAT BY BUYING FROM THEM YOU WILL BE CHARGED BY H.M. CUSTOMS & EXCISE 20% VAT PLUS THE IMPORT DUTY, ON TOP OF YOUR PURCHASE PRICE.

Ha, yeah, ill just get some SES ones.

I do love the idea of the spare kit they do though.

The price of them makes me think they are Chinese though, but it could just be a guy ordering them to spain then punting them on elsewhere with a tidy profit.

The thing is compare the design ... Now consider that Diamond have only been selling this design (changed from old design) recently ... Yet the Chinese have been selling them longer ...

Who is copying who... wink

Either way for £150 you can't really complain I guess given Gilles, etc are are three times the price.

I've been after rearsets since Nov for the blade and one of the things I did was study the design of those Chinese rear sets against the new Diamonds ... I can't see any real difference at all.

It does seem a bit of a coincidence ... Not to mention quality control and customer service of Diamond is diabolical.

yes, this is the case, these are identical to the ones I bought, they clearly just print the name on the side.

I use Diamond tyre warmers and reckon their stuff is pretty good. I'd use their rearsets. I wouldn't buy the Chinese ones.

I hope that slur is not intended for me, I wouldn't wipe my arse with it smile

Anyway this has all got too complicated for me, BN says he has used them before so that's good enough for me smile

The ones BN used are not the same as the new ones Diamond are selling now.

You wouldn't know any different though if you took the brand label off and put them side by side ... That is my point.

No sorry, it was badly quoted. I meant the guy who wrote that scary text. I just thought that his point was already made with the facts and his embellishment added nothing to it.

hold the mother fking phone, I bought tech spec grips on your endless recommendations, these were fking garbage. woeful, hopeless, couldn't hit home on a wet night bad.

I got pilot power 3's these were also fking hopeless on track.

you said ebc's were st, I think these are great.

now I'm sure your a lovely chap, honestly this isn't a dig.

But anytime I see a recommendation from you I treat your opinion like the o/h does mine when asking advice on a dress or shoes.

A) I agree with her choice and we are both happy
or
B) I say it looks hoaching or I like the other one, she then falls out with me saying "wtf do you know you wear your wee brothers hand me ups" and I'm left going well why the fk did you ask you stupid daft bh.

just saying. laugh

I think that horse has long since bolted biglaugh but I have ordered from a reputable UK site not from eBay so I am happy they are not Chinese or Chinese copies, if they do not look as they are advertised when they arrive they will go back and any dispute will be referred to my CC company, but my expectation is they will be fine.

Its been a while since I have been involved in a thread like this so all in all quite enjoyable smile even if no-one commented on my new exhaust pics weeping

Does anyone know of cheap BUT DECENT rearsets for a Daytona 675.

Preferably ones with access to loads of spares.

I'll probably just buy SES but I'm a bit fked off with them when they never even replied to my discount thread idea.

it sent thousands to evo-tech via 675.cc
