If I delete my photo of my st Chinese rearsets will it make all of this go away?
I think that horse has long since bolted biglaugh but I have ordered from a reputable UK site not from eBay so I am happy they are not Chinese or Chinese copies, if they do not look as they are advertised when they arrive they will go back and any dispute will be referred to my CC company, but my expectation is they will be fine.

Its been a while since I have been involved in a thread like this so all in all quite enjoyable smile even if no-one commented on my new exhaust pics weeping
So they arrived today and I was sent two left side pieces of which one had no footpeg adjustment at all and the other only had 5 settings not the 14 as per product description so they have been sent straight back, I suppose you get what you pay for, I should know better by now at my age frown

I'm going to order the R&G ones, any issues with those smile

Do you think they were from Diamond or copies?

Bloody hell, who checked that order before shipping it?

Aren't there any BB machinists that can knock out some decent parts for a good price?

I've never used Diamond before or had rearsets so no way of knowing, but to be fair they looked OK smooth and solid enough and if they had been the right fitment I would have put up with the less than expected levels of adjustment and put them on but as you can see in the pic I got two left hand side items!!!!!

They look nice, they will be great when you get the other side.

I'm just off the phone with a guy, I ordered a set of black SES rearsets.

I was going to get TRW ones, there was a new set going for £200 but the replacement parts were eye watering 40 quid for a peg, 80 for a brake or gear pedal.

compare that to the 12 quid a peg from ses and 40 for lever.

im all excited now.

Has the pound been devalued ? £10k for a kettle is just mad money. In reality they were fat, heavy st old things in 1975 [could be describing myself here] but unlike a fine wine they have not improved with age.

Rose ed spectacles to quote John Inverdale.

These seem a real bargain, and aren't very common. What's the catch?

After 2.5 years of ownership and finally deciding its a keeper (after looking at the 2015 model) this is the first 'unnecessary' money I have spent on the S1000RR, I know its no louder and no more power but it looks nice and its light! smile

They look good in the flesh, quite a classic style without being retro. Probably

Is that the pic that makes it look as if its tiny ? Or much smaller than a normal can ?

It looks a bit like the Austin Racing cans
