Another one of the Millenium Falcon. Despite an engine that has roots going back to pre-WW2, suspension designed by a British engineer; it continues to surprise by its amazing turn of speed, handling, and immense comfort. It's like riding a 2 wheeled supercharged Range Rover!
It certainly looks good. And the BMW GS is rarely a bike that would have me cooing over it.It seems a lot of bikers had the idea of taking their bikes out for the first run of year. Indeed, a friend of mine gave his K1300S it's first run out of the year. I wanted to ride my bike to work today, but duff indicators put paid to that idea. Back to Honda on Wednesday for a few more fixes...

Woohoo, back on the bike today for me too, for the first time since my accident.
New kit performed well, but my new back protector makes my jacket very snug and stops the Leatt brace wings sitting flat on my trapezius' unfortunately. Just need to sort that and break the pads in on my new (snug!) lid.
Was great to be back on the bike and within a few metres I felt back at home and while quite cautious I opened her up on some A roads, and pulled a wicked 1st gear power wheelie near home too

Ace news! Glad to hear it and I love that your first ride back involves a wheelie, even if it is only a cop out power wheelie New kit performed well, but my new back protector makes my jacket very snug and stops the Leatt brace wings sitting flat on my trapezius' unfortunately. My God just give me a fag packet sketch for the love of fk. Instead of wasting money on ses stickers and ses labeled sticky tape the box came in label where the fk things go. Or even a photo.
Also the shifter is ludicrously long. Rather pissed off to be honest. No wonder I couldn't put then together.
Not what you expect when you buy Brittish
They even told me where some of the parts go, I mean I have my qualification from the college in mechanical engineering but even I struggled.
Apparently you don't need to use all the parts.
The bolt and rose joint they fitted, may not fit youre bike, which is handy when that is the only part that came assembled, you naturally assume this is important and required. so spend the next hour working around this.
The shifter rod that came with it, that is ludicrously long, may not be the actual length required for your bike. If you could measure it yourself we can send an appropriate sized one to you.
Those two black spacers that we gave you that you cant work out where the fk they go, well you tard, they go on one side of the rear set mounts to bring it out from the frame, but not the other. Duh.
I mean for fk sake I don't remember 666 having this problem with his Chinese ones.
Buy British. ok maybe an OTT rant but still.

Don't give us that bks and your fancy degree. I've seen you use a ratchet. You've got hands like cow's tits.
Also this is also probably why, contrary to popular belief, most of these parts come from China.
