As of October you don't have to display tax discs, so thought it'd be cool to get period ones for the old bikes. Got a sample for the 1928 Royal Enfield sidecar outfit, they arrived today
Really pleased with them;
And to celebrate, been meaning to pick this up from dad's since Christmas. The pint bottle of IPA is for scale:
Your bottom is going to be a bit wiffy Tomo old lad Really pleased with them;

And as if that wasn't bad enough, I just cooked and scoffed my first attempt at cooking a curry from scratch (ie mixing the spices) and it was a bit hotter than planned...
Gonna be one stinky boy tomorrow

Good luck with that George...got some wets ready to go I hope?!
After selling my SRAD to Pete some weeks ago, I found a replacement for it within my budget today, not as clean as the old SRAD but its still a very nice, low mileage GSXR1000 K1, apart from a carbon front mudguard(probably as a result of disc lock accident) its completley standard and devoid of any tat ,even has the standard indicators/mirrors in place.
Im sure it'll be a lot of fun to ride and take up duties on the occasional tour as well.
That looks very clean, ( looks like my old bike!) Nice one Bryan - looks very tidy! K1s are supposed to be proper torque monsters! The red/black silver is a nice subtle scheme but as you know, they are are slightly slower than the blue and white ones. Thanks for the commenst chaps & fair one Pete! Its lacking the classic blue and white scheme but hey, I have a copper Hayabusa too so clearly asthetics dont trouble me overly...
I like it, looks super clean and although I do like the blue and white,it's a nice change.Much prefer that tail over the SRAD hump.
Good choice Podman.

The copper coloured Haysbusas are the best looking ones of all! Shame that colour scheme never appeared elsewhere in the Suzuki stable. Gassing Station | Biker Banter | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
