Oh right. Yesterday was great, near enough dry all day.

Are you one of the photographers with the press vests on, or just a punter?

A little closer

It's a lot steeper than it looks in the pictures, honest.

Looks cool. Where is that?

We did over 100 miles over the day but that particular section is Gatesgarth Pass near lake Windermere.

Cbr 600 is off having black panels sprayed, so swapped out manky old swingarm for one i detabbed, blasted and had sprayed earlier. First chance to use the abba swingarm removal bobbins, theyre brilliant...

Did quick and dirty machine polish of old art can while there...

I love this bike, it's amazing the condition for the age of these old hondas. This one's going to be all black, with subtle silver decals and single seat cover. It's a lovely little thing.

They'd need to be talented pilots to miss that Armco running down the runway

Theyre like normal abba ones, but they have a hole drilled through the middle with a long bolt running through each one. You take the peg hangers off the frame and use one of the bolt holes from each side for each bobbin. Totally rock solid, theyre brilliant.

Is it sturdy though? It doesn't look it from the picture.

I bought a set of the Harris Footpeg stands for when I swapped a swingarm over / removed the rear shock: http://www.harris-performance.com/acatalog/Online_...
Not cheap but very good.

On the plus side it seems like you enjoy working on your bikes and the engine will end up as nice as the rest of it looks biggrin
