We did over 100 miles over the day but that particular section is Gatesgarth Pass near lake Windermere.
Windermere. It's just Windermere. No Lake.

censored Bad times.

On the plus side it seems like you enjoy working on your bikes and the engine will end up as nice as the rest of it looks biggrin
Cheers mate...and thanks Ryan...I do enjoy working on them but its April now and I equally like riding on them, so this will go on the back burner for a bit..

Oh right. Yesterday was great, near enough dry all day.

Are you one of the photographers with the press vests on, or just a punter?

Matt
I was, but back to being an ordinary punter this season.

Sunday's pics will be posted in a day or two.

Any clues? Was she running hot?? Oil feed ok from the tank??
If she's solid, she might have dropped s skirt and the piston is jammed. Hopefully the barrels will be salvageable. Maybe it's time for a cheeky 410 conversion?? thumbup

My pride and joy is back. After a 6 month lay up its taxed and back on the road and it's legal to buy it's first pint. I rode it a whole mile to my house via the falkirk wheel.

Looks brand new considering it's done 20,000 miles and it's 18 years old.

Sold a fair few of those 125's when I had a Yamaha shop in south Africa. We sold mainly the white ones and a few blue. never seen red ones.

We called them RZ125LC and the 16 yr olds had a miniature version in the RZ50 LC.

Suzuki also has the fantastic RG50 Gamma for the kids and Honda had the MBX 50 all liquid cooled.

Oooshh - that sucks Bryan - joys of 2-stroke special ownership I guess. Hope it's not too expensive to fix.

I had never seen a Red one before my own one, then Pauls mate Jimmy turned up with another one.

Pauls is White and Jimmys other mate has a Blue one so that's four of us with them localy

2 strokes are great when they're going....Time makes you forget what a pain in the arse they could be.

Commiserations on the Gamma frown

I had a couple of days playing in Wales at the weekend, including a pleasant coffee break at the usual place, Ponderosa on Horseshoe Pass

2 strokes are great when they're going....Time makes you forget what a pain in the arse they could be.
But they were/are still relatively easy to fix.
