I bought an umbrella that automatically opens AND closes whilst drunk.
Right in time for summer.
The umbrella has to be drunk ?

I don't know, I just expect them to do the job they are being paid to do. Saltire damaged my wheels (and their attitude afterwards stunk), and Honda couldn't adjust the play in my steering stem as they didn't have a £10 socket (despite selling a GSX-R while I was in there waiting!).

Ian Murray were next on my list to try.
Two Wheels I hear are basically parts changers. They wouldn't touch my neighbour's bike as it was "too old", so they are known to refuse complicated jobs. I can't slate them as I negotiated a bit on the hourly rate given how much business I had put their way and they did an acceptable job. Their parts lads are friendly enough as well.

The service manager (I think that's his title) at Saltire is one of my neighbours. He's a good bloke but there's been a few things ballsed up under his watch. He has however really tried to make things up, so I've not entirely spat the dummy but I do avoid the workshop if I can. The clothes department fella is a top bloke as well he's helped me out with a few things gratis.

As for Ian Murray however, he has been fair with MOTs, he's rebuilt a mates engine for a good price, and done a few jobs for me for very little money despite his Ducati accreditation. His mechanics will also listen to you if you bring a bike in with problems, not just filter you out and assume they know best. Which I appreciate.

I would still stick with Ian Murray's. We're all human, it just really pissed me off at the time.

For those that don't know it's actually the SHOWA twin tube (balance free) shock (aka ohlins TTX) from a 2012 > Fireblade... why did I buy it when I was pissed?

At £53 why not ... biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

(they sell for £200+ over here!)

I don't miss it Scott, means I can get a helmet on easier and I don't need to use a hairdryer (or a comb)

Anyway, its only the bit on the top that's missing

Will keep Ian Murray in mind then, as they are actually one of the closer ones to me anyway.

Apart from the horizon being on the piss (and not at the 'artistic' angle) it's a cracking photo. wink

If the horizon was straightened we would see MTB bolt upright though.

Feel free to look through my flickr.

I was talking about the photography not your riding skills.

Carry on being very defensive though.

Firstly I know I'm st so I'm not bothered in the slightest if it was a dig.

Secondly it's more than every single post you ever make you pick flaws for and belittle. We all like a moan. But you take it to new levels.

Nothing to do with your riding. More the picture would look better if the horizon was straight.

You missed the point yet again.

I never. I've back tracked enough to know when someone is doing it. Your post ratio to anyone else is extortionately high. I'm sure if I was to read through them all 90 percent would be insults or complaints or saying this is st and that is.

There's banter which is great but you come across as incredibly arrogant. I've never met you in person and I'm sure your nice enough, people who have met me know I'm not the illiterate I'll educated tt I appear on here. But you constantly irate other members without once thinking. I don't think I've ever had someone tell me not to talk to myself on a forum but you managed it with one of the nicest people I have ever met.

People are quick to help you when you ask for it on here. Why don't you try and contribute more and stop coming across as obtuse and arrogant. I take most posts as banter but maybe it's the way you word them yours come across as snidey
