Yes, it's from Abingdon. Anything I should be concerned about?

Lots of great pics, that really was a crappy long winter eh?!

884 miles in one day to get this. Big thanks to grahamr88 for putting me onto it as it was exactly as described and a bargain.

Taken the session before I lowsided getting on the power coming out the chicane at Mallory. The Go Pro wasn't on at the time of crash which was a shame as it might have offered a little more insight into what went wrong.

As said, it was the kettle engine

Lovely looking thing and looked well pampered

I was hoping he was going to stick it on the dyno
Whilst the motor's obvious - what's the frame? Looks almost TZ'ish with the bottom frame tubes removed?

Going all cultural and stuff...

A friend of ours invited us to his place of work, the Mauritshuis in The Hague (NL). That's museum you can see in the background. Inside is, amongst a whole lot of other famous paintings, the Girl with the pearl by Vermeer.
Felt a bit odd hobbling around in my leathers but it was great to hear the stories behind the restorations and moving of paintings, etc. Really cool.

Havent seen one of them for a very long time.

IIRC didnt Tony try and flog front end design/tech to the British bike industry but they wasnt interested, then BMW copied it?

Looks like a retro Yamaha GTS1000 now....and even they are pretty retro!

Wasn't it the Hossack (?) front end that BMW copied not long after the patents ran out?

That Tony Foale bike (with the GSX1100 motor) was built with Superbike Magazine - still have the issues at home.

You could be right mate, I just remember it being a Brit design and BMW "stealing" it..

Looks like a cracking bike, and a hell of a drive to get it!

I'm going to Cadwell on Tuesday, and there are still spaces left. You should come along, you can buy me a beer! wink
