Donington Park, yesterday, Melbourne.
Hate both that corner, and Goddards following it, but I'm slowly getting more comfortable with them.
Was amazing weather, pretty much every session got red flagged though, including a BMW S1000 totalled on Craner on lap one after the sighting laps.
Also managed to stop some guy heading out of the pits with his rear warmer still on, that could have been an expensive error!
Nice pic!

What group were you in for all that drama?

Finally sorted the ZX6RR, can't wait to see what it's like

Since last outing it's had

Full suspension service front and rear plus 9.5 k tech springs, it had a terrible front end which constantly wanted to tuck, and did at one point. Gav @ race HQ said the springs that were in tested at 8.4nm so far too soft, plus the shock needed doing anyway. Hopefully I'll gain some confidence in it now.

Cordona PQ8 quickshifter fitted, rose jointed linkage now too so less play than the old worn ball joints it had on.

Brembo 19x20 Radial MC I had, and proper brembo reservoir and hose. It had an RCS on before and I didn't like it anywhere near as much as the 19x20, glad I took it off the Mille before selling!!

New Active push and pull throttle cables and completely re routed, they had been installed completely wrong by whoever prepped the bike before.

Switchgear and MC swapped around, again the plank who prepped it had the switch gear in between the MC and throttle tube so it was a really awkward pull right on the end of the lever. ste.

Lockwired grips, the LH side one kept moving as I was riding. Not too confidence inspiring.

Loads of little things that I didn't really notice until riding it, I hated riding it last time, rounding around all the problems. Just hope that I can crack on and enjoy it now.

You will go really well on that now Ryan - top work , again , and I can only thank you for the great job you did in getting my throttle adjustment sorted and making it snap closed as opposed to slowly stickily and horribly drag itself somewhere near - something I had just got used to but , once rectified, along with the brake bleed you did, made the day at Croft so enjoyable . Cheers
I shall buy some
beer when we next visit the big lad in Bolton .

Suffered the consequences of the £20 filler cap.

I know it's cheap but it's from a UK company and made in the UK so I expected better. Hopefully they sort it out.

Due to it not locking sellotape came to the rescue and will have to do for the next few days.
