I once came across unexpected road works while delivering a friend who was visiting from another country up to Manchester.

I asked a worker if I could go through rather than an unknown length/time detour versus 30 yards of road works. He said I wasn't allowed but he hadn't seen me.

Cue my pillion moving a couple of cones out the way and a foreman waving his finger as I blasted the VFR up the road

Some great roads for letting the big bikes off the leash up there, Bala is part of my Sunday loop round NWales. Watch out for the occasional Scamera van on the A4212 though, near the white water canoe place.

Aye, we need to sort that out don't we. Hoping to get out that way tomorrow but I'm meeting friends at the pub later so I don't want to commit to anything until the morning!

I don't know,i'm sure a few have been crashed already circuit racing/practicing/testing

It was just a light hearted quip referring to the first one I had heard of on the roads
