Bye-bye, my lovely 600SS.

I waved good bye to my lovely GSX-R 750 on Tuesday evening. A really nice fellow drove all the way up from Swansea, paid me cash and rode off home. He got home at around 01:30 !!!

This was a well known bike on PH having been found by Podman and re commissioned and the 3DP owned it and I got it from him.

The new owner has had 9 x GSX-R's and a whole host of RG500's etc so he is a bit of a Suzuki fanatic.

Well you've still got your lovely 1198 and that yummy MV, chap, so don't take it too hard.

I have my own two-wheeled consolation plus simply masses of space in the garage all of a sudden.

That does indeed look silly. Crazy silly.

The guy came up for the bike early this morning from Burton on Trent. He'll be stripping the 600 down to the bones and doing her up. Result!
He promised to send me a pic once it's all done.

Big result - glad it's going to a collector - it's where a bike that belongs.

Henstridge airfield bike meet last night. The queue on the right is people waiting to have a blast on the runway, I hate queuing so didn't have a go. Some nice bikes there, got to see the new R1 in blue looks really good in the flesh!
