It certainly is a looker, would need a few bits to make it truly immaculate.

Pretty awesome ride yesterday. 200 miles of North yorkshires finest. Helmsley tt road then we adventured off through Pickering and found this little gem. Bumps, jumps hairpins and everything else that tries to kill you on a 'superbike'. Loved every mile of it!

Are these any good for a 675.

Looks snazzy, you've bought it now anyway

Has it been serviced recently? Obviously a fancy shock that is setup incorrectly and worse for wear will be no better than what you already have

Is that definitely for the 675???
The Ohlins on my 675 has a different canister orientation. The canister should go across the bike to the left, not along the bike?

Well I guess you'll find out when it arrives wink

just seems odd that the orientation would be so different. have a look under the rear and you'll see what I mean.
And before we get into this again, what spring is it coming with?? If it's not the right one weight wise, do you have one you can fit before mounting the shock??

10 and a half stone spring.

Technically I haven't paid for it yet as my wallet is at work.

Have I essentially bought st.

It looked shiney that was my logic.

10.5 stone equals 66kg?? Are you serious??? If that's true I seriously doubt that'll work for you. It might have been cheap and shiny, but so is a turd rolled in glitter....
What make is it?? If this is for track use, stick to the known brands, Ohlines, K-Tech, Nitron, Maxton, WP etc. If it's some obcsure make, are you going to be able to get springs for it to suit your weight??
Also, go look at the shock on your bike and you'll see it's orientated totally differently. This might have come off a 675 but that don't mean it's meant for a 675!

So what your saying is.

The brands st. It's American and seemed to get ok reviews
The spring is wrong
And it will make no difference over stock.

No, what I'm saying is..

I don't know what brand it is. I asked, you haven't said.
I believe the 66 kg spring will be too light for your weight and track use.
Depending on the brand, are you sure you'll be able to get replacement springs if required?
Difference over stock... Depends, but the standard shock is shyte, as is the bottom linkage triangle....
Is it that cheap for a reason?
