For sure. Weather looks great from early on and looks like Iain can only do early but not late,so might do Set.- Haw. first with him and on to DB by 12 .
What route do you come through on BN? Sure you don't fancy that warmer upper Simon /Ryan ?

Alston way.

I am meeting at DB then heading back to Hartside the way I came.

If no one wants to do that route then I'll just go to Rothbury on my 125

It's been foggy here since Wednesday until this morning when it is now piss wet and cold with leaves all over the place.

I rode the track bike home from work yesterday which was fine down the A1 but I nearly lost me teeth on the back roads due to the suspension and lack of padding on the seat

This seems like a really good idea (not)

I've been given the green light for a ride out, but at the risk of sounding like a fair weather biker (which I am tbh), the weather here is putting me off.

The weather here is damp and crap too. Tomorrow is expected to be much better, so I'll definitely be out. Yazza, meet at mine at 9.30 and we'll see if we need to pick anyone up along the way. If not we'll see the rest of you at DB at noon at the latest. Ideally we want to get going soon after on the run up to Hartside, which is an awesome run no matter what your skill level.

Just to reemphasise, everyone is welcome. It's not a race and everyone gets to ride their own ride with plenty of breaks for all along the way. No matter who is the slowest, you will always get a good rest at the regular breaks we take.

Anyone wanting a run up with me speak up. I can meet yous at the McDonalds car park just off the western bypass where we can carry on up to Hexham the Alston.

I do not ride like an idiot on the road so no one need worry about things like that

Between 9.15 and 9.30 at McDonald's

Come on then, let's be having some names

Good stuff. I take it you're heading over from Scunny way. If so we're all meeting at Devils Bridge in Kirkby Lonsdale at midday tomorrow. Be good to meet up.

Is that the McDonalds just off the A1 at West Denton? I might be up for this depending on the route. Is it Alston to DB and back? I've been rough as owt with a raging cold but feeling a bit better today, hoping to be perked up enough tomorrow for a ride.

I might go and wash the all the dead flies off my bike now, just in case I do pick up enough to tag along.

Right, I'm in as long as I'm fit. I'll be hammering the Beechams Max strength and getting an early night to give me the best chance, see you lads in the morning hopefully.
