Can everyone make sure they are full of fuel before the meet up please.
Starting with 3/4 or 1/2 tank won't work out well.
No problem, I was going to fill up on the way to McDonalds, my fuel light was flashing miserably at me while I was getting it out to wash it.Starting with 3/4 or 1/2 tank won't work out well.
fk me, what a day. Just sitting down now after getting home from my first PH BB ride out, what a brilliant day. I left the house at 08:30, and didn't put the bike back in the garage until 17:15, making it by far the longest and most intense day I've done in the saddle. Some things conspired against us, like a work experience lad in a police uniform eyeing up BN's bike at our first meeting point, clen666 getting a seized fuel filler cap and us ending up riding a 50 mile detour to get to Devil's Bridge. It was definitely worth it, I had an ace time, apart from one point when a fly hit my mouth vent grill and disintegrated, which I promptly inhaled.
It was great to meet you lot, it's good to see you're as funny as in real life as you are behind a keyboard (even if I'm not :/ ), to ride with some top lads with some brilliant bikes was ace. I feel like I learned a lot, especially as the roads were on today are mainly the kind I'm least comfortable to ride quickly, so it was good to put in a good few miles on them, even if I was riding behind the pack. I'll definitely be out again, but probably not this year. Unless of course I reconsider, and sell my bike / decide the tyres are underinflated / decide the seat is too hard in order to avoid having to come. Cheers for letting me come, it's been a belter day.

Ha no, good group of lads, was good to meet you all.
Like mastodon2, that was the longest ride out I've done since starting out in April, and it was good picking things up from the more experienced riders.
Hopefully do it again and try and keep them in sight so I can pick up a few more tips!
