I went for an excellent blast with my mate Joe yesterday, first time I've actually ridden my F4 "properly" and had a blast on lots of twisties - went up through the Trough of Bowland, out toward Lancaster, popped into Devil's Bridge then back through places like Bentham, Rathmell, Wiggleswick, Gisburn. Tried to stay off the major roads, did about 150 miles. Excellent fun biggrin but oh my - do my wrists hurt.

Fine by me, it'll be a good test to see if this bike is comfortable over long distances.

It will be, although you might need to keep a bottle of oil under the seat wink

Bolton to Devils Bridge - brew stop

Devils bridge - Sedbergh - Hawes - Ingleton - Devils bridge

IIRC...

Sometimes we go all the way up to Hartside instead... I've not done that run for ages though.

If I'm coming which is a definite unless the weather stops play, then the run is from Devils Bridge to Hartside for me. No Hawes or Settle. I want to catch up with BN as it's been a while.

For those wimping out. The run after DB is fantastic whatever your pace, so don't wimp out.

The more the merrier, there will be plenty of stops and breaks for everyone and no pressure to ride to ride too fast or too slow. Everyone rides their own ride at their own pace.

I'll be coming to db (in the car) if you are meeting up on Sun, if there is another run out in a couple of weeks I may be able to play and remind you lot how slow you are tongue out
