Following from this http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Let's get some interest going for this year there's a few new people about that'd be good to meet and also the old ugly mugs from yesteryear.

Hopefully the weather will be on the up soon.

I'm in, not for a couple of weeks though as I'm busy and have to buy things like boots/tax etc etc.

Probably bit I only booked it today. Problem is I'm in the wrong group as that's all they had left so trying to get shifted.

Pissed off I didn't book it earlier, I've been too busy with work and forgot until today. I hate riding in Inters now as it messes up my rhythm.

Does Biker's Nemesis ride with the NW group? I'm oover his way, and there doesn't seem to be a NE group, but when I looked up where Devil's Bridge is, 120 miles to get to the meeting point seems a bit much :/

It's a bit far for most people but what's the point of meeting up to ride on crap roads? At least there are plenty of options for decent riding roads once there.

Totally agree but I'm not exactly short of good roads in Northumberland, not far up to Scotland either. I'd jump at 120 mile stint just to get to the meeting point if I lived in one of the st parts of the country. Not ruling myself out either mind, though tbh as a new rider I'm probably not up to speed for a decently paced group ride, need to get a few more miles under my belt, but I reckon I'd be up for some meets next year.

We tend to head up to Hartside from DB via some good roads and you'll enjoy the craic as much as the ride. Nobody is out of place as we wait and everyone gets a good break when we stop too

You'll get plenty of overtaking practise.

I'll be up for a brew, bit of banter & some nice roads & I'll try & drag Rich along on his Tuono, to sample all the filling stations in the area wink

I will be up for a ride at some point. Need to get a recall and MOT done ive got a feeling it runs out very soon.

Its probably a bit far up there for me at the moment + will need to gain some good boy points for a full day out.

Where abouts is everyone based ?
