Si has hit the treadmill, bought some extra spares for the bikes and done stloads of TD's.

ive stopped drinking again, upped my yomping mileage per day and fitted an engine to a blown up zx7r. And got my new Continental RaceAttack slicks

Oh, we've reveiwed the revised rules too and organised a pit board.

And Burgers.

We have even organised when we are arriving and formulated one of those Plan Of Action things.

Have to say, im itching to get to anglesey now, i just want to get back on a racetrack.

I'm running just under 6km a night, every night, barely drinking booze and trying to find my riding mojo. Thankfully something clicked last time out , so there's a bit of speed there.

All the details have been sorted, like dogtags, a couple of cheapo orange Tshirts rather than a bib.

Rules have been read, but not fully sunk in and hoping Craig can sort the bikes for scrutineering, I've got plenty of parts!!

If your running 6km a night weight will fly off as long as you eat the right stuff. Just like its flying onto me because ive not been going the gym or running and slurping to much ale eek

Worked hard three years ago and lost three stone. Quit smoking last year, put two stone back on. Still off the tabs.

I'm eating stir fry veg with steamed fresh fish, along with a shedload of fruit. Job snacking, no chocolate and no crap. I'm a stone down, but I've still got a stupid belly.

Try some interval training. I was in the same boat. Quit smoking after waaaay too many years and my weight skyrocketed. It fell away with good diet and reasonable exercise but only up to a point.
But the real winner was doing some interval training. Basically, warm up for 10 mins on a treadmill or X trainer or even road runnng, then work in 90 second segments. So for each 90 seconds, run like fk, i mean absolutely FLAT out for 30 seconds then take a 1 minute rest with gentle walking then repeat. Run so hard you can't talk and you're in danger of kacking in your shreddies!! Do this 6 times them do a warm down and i promise you your body won't know whats hit it. It's like once you esablish a routine like running 6 km or such, your body knows how to conserve the fat whereas with a bit of interval training, it doesn't know it's arse from it's elbow and the fat gets burnt.
X Trainer is my fav as it works the entire body bu the philosophy applies to any machine of even road running/cycling.
Give it a try a couple of times a week and see how you go.
Careful if you do this out on the road though, you'll look like an escaping blagger and it might end up like a Benny Hill comedy chase.

Possibly try road cycling Loon, it is great for the core and weight flies off you ( you dont see many fat road cyclists do you).
It will be kinder on the Knees too and not as boring as running,if you eat healthily before and after, cut out sugars as you wanna burn fat not the sugar. You can also get tablets to put in your drinks bottle that give you electrolytes without sugar content.

I played a lot of football befote but am into cycling at the moment, really starting to feel the difference.

ETA It can get bloody expensive tho, so much cool stuff you can buy, and if you catch the bug you will get totally hooked!

If you want I can have a read through the regulations and pick out the do's and don'ts (have done 6 car 24hr races as a team manager). Send the rules to my e-mail address under my details.

General stuff, fuel, tyre pressures etc and incase of any damage repairs needed.

Payment is good fodder and maybe a beverage or two.
