Much much better roads in this neck of the woods to/from Squires. I'd imagine you could in theory go much faster too, but as said, plod sees it as 'target Rich' so I avoid being a tool round there.

It wasn't quick & he wasn't pushing it IMHO.

No, not that quick and piss poor riding, I'd say that was about the usual snails pace that we do on a ph meet. All he seemed to do was nail it through a few sweeping bends.

Someone posted a video of me on here from 2007 giving it ten nowt along the Rothbury Road now that would have got me into deep st at the time.

It was uploaded onto Google video's IIRC.

Wasn't that fast and if anything probably looked a bit faster than it was for all the weaving about

I know those roads pretty well, maybe I'm just more cautious than him, but I thought at times he was riding like a total bell end. 120 past the cyclist with not that much of a gap, lots of double while crossing, and I did wonder if it was going to end in a fail with the van at the junction towards the end...

I really like the roads between Stillingfleet and Cawood, but mostly avoid Squires (their tea is shocking too smile )

Cheers,
Tom

Not to bad on the way out aside from a few "choice" lines, but the way back was quite rapid. He did seem on the other hand to have an idea of how to control the bike as those sort of speeds. All be it with some pointless white line crossing. I don't have a huge issue with this personally but can see how others do.

Not excessively quick although the speed and wheelie through the village was totally unnecessary. His lines through corners are crap and I don't think he ever looked behind so it's just as well there wasn't a bike plod there as he'd never have known .... until he stopped, by which time he'd have done enough to be eligible for a holiday at Her Majesty's Pleasure.

Did anyone watch it until the end?

06:10 when cranked over at 100mph around a left bend was basically near death... There was some definite opposite lock going on and I'm sure some twitchy rectum

Just looked at his other videos and even the ones where hes on a 125 look fast even tjough hes not going that fast.

Im not saying its slow riding on the ktm by anymeans but i do think the filming makes it look faster than it is.
Agree. In this one, the A3 seems to disappear as soon as the NSL comes up.

130mph in a 50 limit, in the wet, on an 899.

There's enough evidence in just a couple of his vids to lock him up for a while. I doubt he'll end up there though, much more likely to end up embedded in a hedge/van/car riding like a dick like that.

Erm that was just a bump and he absorbed it using his arms, so his head bobbed up and down, nothing iffy there at all.

I might add this to the cringe thread.

You should all go and hang out with your other ROSPA benders.

Passing that close to a cyclist at over a ton is absolutley the worst thing he did IMHO, proper tt thing to do.

Not great riding either.

Have you agreed to join the 'let's try and get a reaction' gang?

If you think that riding was anything other than dangerous (and fast doesn't = dangerous) then you've got very different standards for ability than I have. If that cyclist had have gone round one of the countless potholes or puddles (as just one example) it'd have been catastrophic for both. Not many people expect to be buzzed on the same side of the road with a closing speed of 100mph+

That's the bit that made me cringe too.

the 3 millionth reason to confirm avoid squires
if I was that cyclist I would have diverted to squires and knocked his teeth out

failure

Can't really see what you're all getting in a twizz about. Yes, passing the cyclist was not cool, but other than that, reminded me of a Foxtrot. Slow, Slow, Quick Quick Slow.
