Here a few pics of the blade.

Looks very retro and I'm pretty proud of the way it turned out.

Quite like that! But then again I dislike modern short cans that poke out sideways at 45' and an awful metal colostomy bag under the shock linkage. Suddenly a FireBlade is attractive and doesn't go extra noisy on right handers as you lean it over.

Exhaust can itself looks like it's off a ZX7. The rocket launcher angle looks reminiscent of Laser Hotcam systems of the late 1990's - most stylish.

Castle Coombe is different, they have a section on their websites. Fireblades with standard exhausts fail the test, stupid or what?

Thanks - yes it is a ZX 7R can.. Kawasaki heavy engineering at it's best .. heavy but does the job.

I've got a gsxr 750 2010 model with a full yoshimura r77 system, passed cadwell noise regs without a baffle.

Think it was 99db and I thought it was loud. You'll be fine mate, although I did hold the revs a little bit less than what they asked for ;-)

Funny that. :P

There was a photo knocking around of a bloke that wedged another can into the end of his stock can on an R6 to get it through the noise test. It passed like that, so he used a ratchet strap and rode it on track like it. :O
heh, that was my mate steve with his micron marital aid, might be doing something similar at pembery next week.
