I went to COTA for the first F1 race, it is a really good track, probably the best of the modern Tilke tracks

Sounds like it is a great venue from what they have said about it hosting music events and all sorts.

I'm a marquez and pedrosa fan...but I would love to see rossi remain competitive. The last three laps of qatar he showed body langauge I havnt seen since he used to regularly pulverise casey stoner after playing with him for 90% of the race.

Until Stoner got on a bike which handled properly and he didnt have to perform miracles on.

At which point he spanked VR every way but rearward and then some too

but lets not let facts get in the way of a good old fashioned fanboi comment.

personally ill be happy to see VR up there before he retires.

he isnt the GOAT (Thats M Doohan IMHO) but he is one of the best. No one with a career like his should retire on the wane.

If he does well this year, imho he should bow out on a high and concentrate on his other pursuits.

Matt Birt and Ryder are both good commentators IMHO (Birt is very well connected and has lots of knowledge and behind the scenes info) but neither is a 'lead' commentator. Pairing them is never going to be brilliant (ideally it should either be Emmett or Heuwen with one of them) but I wouldn't go as far as saying it was hopeless.

The Motegi race that Ryder referenced was the most pronounced and obvious example of self learning electronics that it have ever seen. Incredibly clever stuff.

And in 5 years time they will become self aware and will kill all humans.
