This isn't good for cal at all. Not only is he in the shadow of Dovi, his attitude (althought haven't seen much of it today) won't go down well with ducati.
The trouble for cal is at ducati he was the special one, at ducati he's one of 4 riders , 2 of which out perform him.

If ducati perceive he's only there for the pay check and get pissed off with his moaning i can see them replacing him, there are a new breed of rider coming thru all wanting rides.

No idea what Lorenzo was up to with his false start, but once he did it he should have just gunned it rather than slow down. Might have gained a few more seconds which would have counted in the race.

Warmup lap, gun it around as fast as possible, don't stop at the grid, just carry on you'll be half way round the first lap before the race starts, then dive into the pits, do ride through come out still in the lead hehe

Pretty sure that would have got him the black flag.

Why? He'd just get a ride through. It's safer than dawdling about as the lights go out and having every bike on the gird launching in your direction.

Agreed that it wasn't the most exiting race but it's good to see Dovi on the podium and Bradley having ago up at the front. Felt for Sam as he clearly had the pace to do well. Hope Cal's not too badly injured but it didn't look good.

I think the only thing that is for certain this year is that by the end of the season we'll all be pissed off with hearing the Spanish National Anthem.

Yep, Dani's really let himself go. You can tell from that selfie he's the life and soul of the party

Is it just me, or was anyone else a little surprised to see the commentators all looking to walk around and talk during the anthem?

At an event on US soil, I would have expected a bit more respect shown...

Fair play to Hodgson for not attempting to interview CE during that.

As for respect, if they cared about their national anthem so much they wouldn't have had a hound attempting to sing it

Do you expect the same when at Qatar or Spain? I'm always baffled why people seem to think we have to show some respect to the Yanks and their OTT jingoism.

Genuinely not specific to the Yanks, in fact I'm a strong critic of most things american. And yes, I would have thought the same for the rest of the GPs.

By way of example, most sporting events would have you at least quiet and sometimes standing for the anthem(s) - rugby for example.

I guess it's just me then!! hehe

Hearing some breaking news that Jorge Lorenzo just started the race in Argentina

Might be worth a sneaky bet , Marquez to win every race this season .

Loving the BT coverage, however could they not separate the MotoGP program down a bit, I wanted to tape the race as I was out and working in the loft, however the Mrs was watching TV as normal.

Okay it was my fault but I forgot the race was on so missed it. Our Sky box only has 1 cable at the moment so we have to watch what we are recording, and as a result no reminder came on.

It would be nice if the 3 races were shown as separate programs on the BT channel, but I will get the sky+ extra cable fitted soon.

Just a pest if you do record it to have to fast forward through an 8 hour long program.

I am aware this is a first world problem.
