What no MotoGP thread for "The Americas"???????

yea also watched 'highlights' on ITV4. What I cant understand is why they commited the whole programme to the Moto GP race and just had 10 second round ups of the Moto2 and 3 races which looked much better races. Last time they showed the Quatar MotoGP race for about half of the programme then a decent amount of time for the Moto2 and 3....

Not for me, I think BT are doing a pretty good job. Getting Spies in the box with Huewen and Ryder was a master stroke, along with Schwantz for qualifying.
I don`t like Huewen much but at least he`s better than Cox/Parrish.As for getting Spies in the box, what a terrible boring drawl he is to listen to.

Just to point out, those pictures are not of Rossi's front tyre, they are from Hector Barberas open bike. https://twitter.com/hectorbarbera/status/455639343...

Huewen will use 10 words when 2 would do. Or better still he could not talk every fricking second.
The point scoring between Huewen and Ryder - do they not realize this race is not 'about them'?
Must admit, couldn't remember him from WSBK at all, though the voice was familiar when I heard him doing Qatar. The point scoring between Huewen and Ryder - do they not realize this race is not 'about them'?
Not that impressed, that said, overall still better than Cox by a country mile. He just doesn't really seem that sharp - hopefully he'll improve though as he gets used to the set-up. I just get the vibe that he's a bit of a blagger, who isn't that knowledgeable, and who hasn't really got his bearings yet. Is it just me or does Ryder seem to get a bit annoyed with himat times?
Spies would be all right giving us that insight during practice - but I found it a bit out of place during the race.

Ryder gets annoyed with everyone - it was far worse with Spalding on Eurosport. Not that impressed, that said, overall still better than Cox by a country mile. I really enjoyed when Gavin Emmett and Hodgson were commentating on one period of free practice at COTA. Very professional and knowledgeable.

He was a pretty good racer in his youth

On his shoulder "It depends, if I'm swinging a golf club or throwing a baseball it's not OK. But lifting normal things it's OK. But it still bugs me and even last week I woke up and my shoulder was out of my socket, so it's not good! "

Sounds like the toseland situation was, toseland had his love of music to fall into hopefully spies finds something to replace racing. On his shoulder "It depends, if I'm swinging a golf club or throwing a baseball it's not OK. I know he has his road cycling team but he doesn't seem to of pushed/grown it since he's finished racing, i could see him being some sort of team manager in moto3 the combination of mental 16 years olds and spies calm laid back attitude would work pretty well?
I see crutchlow has had surgery on his right ringer/forearm after his crash at austin, not 100% he'll race in Argentina.

As clearly stated in my post; it as if is he is not up to speed yet. He drops the ball regulary, even when it comes to basics like PID of riders (not line theres many out there...) and frequently excited by non events and replays. I'm waiting out for better commentary based on everyone else's previous wsbk memories. He was a pretty good racer in his youth
Cal Crutchlow out of the Falklands race. Pirro to sub.
