About to replace tyres for first time what is recommended?

Bike only used during summer and dry days. Is it worth going metzeler racetec or s20 evo?

Pilot Power 3 tyres are a forum favourite and my personal fave too

Though I reckon S20 Evo tyres would be worth a look too, as would SportSmart 2 tyres. I personally found PP3 better than SS1 tyres, but the newer SS2 might have caught up. Has anyone tried S20 Evo tyres?

Mind you, sports touring tyres are catching up. Bridgestone T30 tyres are supposed to be quite sporty / agile and are good enough for the Ron Haslam race school. I wonder how much difference you'd notice between something like T30 tyres and sports tyres for road riding.

Thanks might give s20 evo a try, I'm after front and rear so hopefully get the pair for around £200.
