Thats exactly the point, a bike has to feel fun to you the rider. My fazer didn't, but recently i rode a knackered old yamaha sr125 and had a blast!

I think the same is true with cars, everyone bamgs on about 330d's but i wasn't too impressed. A mk1 1.6 mx5 was fantastic though!

Aye, like the original mini. Not a fast car, but any true driver enjoyed them.

FWIW I test rode a couple of Fazers, a 600 just after passing my test and later on a 1000, both of which I found rather bland (characterless engine and a bit heavy IMO) and ended up getting an ER6 and Daytona 675 respectively tongue out

TBH I find cornering more interesting than straight line speed these days so would probably have fun keeping up my momentum in a 125. biggrin

The best riding isn't about firing it in a straight line up the road. It's about the true line.

I have a 330d. Once you sink into the leather seats, open the sunroof and put some Barry Manilow on the DSP sound system your problems go away.

Unbelievable thread derail.

The OP comes here for 'biker' advice and this is where it goes. Could we please just drop this
and agree to differ and leave it at that?
I was thinking the same thing. Many people say no doubt if you are thinking of something its been discussed before on pistonheads but nothing but craps been discussed on this thread and only 10% of it relates to what the OP actually was looking to find out.

I found this topic thinking thread ill get some useful info on here and someone has already asked the question. really I was wrong.

Waste of 6 pages.

Ask a question then, rather than waffle on about how ace your car is.
