As I had to go in to work on Good Friday, decided I could at least make it enjoyable. An early morning spring thrash on the Jota up a deserted A3 early this morning was a joy. Some people may not understand the sheer pleasure of a blat on a 37 yr old bike wearing jeans and an open face...but I think we do here!

Didn't know we had a Jota owner here. 180 or a 120?

Always had a 'thing' for them but stuck to sensible Morinis and Guzzis. eek

As a spotty teenager I used lust over a very orange late model that sat in the local dealers. Still get stirrings.

My mate Tony had a black and green 1200 Mirage that used to try and shake itself apart at trafficlights, forever picking up nuts, bolts and mirrors behind him. It was nicknamed the Widowmaker for very good reasons.

Hi David, good to see that you gave the Jota a good airing this morning - there are few better ways of putting a grin on the face of any Italian bike enthusiast.
My '77 Jota (also silver) is nearing completion after a lengthy rebuild - hopefully not long now....biggrin

- that's my mate Shaun's RGA Sprint that I rebuilt for him a few years - and my red RGS just behind it! Both should be in Bristol tomorrow for the Italian Festival - http://biamf.co.uk/

Cheers Alan
As is well known the silver ones are the fastest and handle the bestbounce

It's an ongoing but rewarding project keeping the Jota on song - but once sorted they are pretty robust and will run at "modern" touring speeds no problem!

As a final shot, Mallory FOTB couple of years ago

The bike at the top of my lottery list. I already have the Mr. Byrite Laverda in my garage ( 750S Formula) but it falls well short of what the Jota represents

The Jota lets everybody know your cock is the biggest
