Cue Rubin215 or someone else saying that the above description is me to a tee.

It looked like the rider had plenty of opportunity to avoid all of that just by either backing off and let the cars doing what they were going to to or overtaking them and leaving them all behind to get on with it.

My guess is he is one of the Scouser mentality bikers that think everyone is out to get them and it's all everyone elses fault.

Didn't look that close, if the camera angle makes it look less of an event than it actually was, the biker should probably have had his spider sense tingling that something like this was about to happen, and dropped back and left a little more room, not like he doesn't have the overtaking and filtering power to get past further down the road. The big error was getting off the bike to make a confrontation of it, st like this happens, deal with it and ride on.

From the google maps link it looks like she did pull out on him rather than it being 3 lanes merging into 2. Even so, bikers reaction is OTT. Also, stopping your bike in front of a car and getting off to go back and "have a word" is possibly going to get your bike rammed while the single woman "fears for her life" as the fully armoured man in a crash helmet comes threateningly towards her. (Her police statement will likely sound like that!)
