Why would a wheelie god buy an S1000RR in the first place?

You're not getting this are you? If the professional test rider says that the bike is unrideable then why do you believe you could ride it?

There is always a degree of electronics kicking in on these bikes. Without it the bike simply would not work. I'm not talking about switching off specific rider aids, I'm talking about the lot. Oh and if you're so upset by all this stuff why didn't you buy the model with none of this on it?
So BMW sell a version of this bike without all this stuff even though it apparently makes it unrideable? (not that I believe that for a second).

I'm sensing too much "taking everything litterally" on here agian.

Can nothing be said tongue in cheek anymore?

I think they should have a race around Cadwell with CBRj125 setting the pace.

No. They sell a bike that does not have ABS, TC and wheelie control. All the S1000RRs have underlying electronics that need to be on to make the bike useable. There is a code to turn the whole lot off, but then it would be unrideable, this code and process is not publicised at all. It's like the old flight control system hidden. In excel, or the pinball game in Microsoft word.

Is this so difficult to understand?

Sorry for using "loft" instead of wheelie as I'm sure that will in some way make me an idiot in certain people eyes on here.
