Make me an offer on my SV!
Likewise, you can make me an offer on mine...it's far older though, and 73,000 miles. But it does have a topbox rack (topbox not included), and heated grips, and a louder exhaust (sounds nice)

£600. Cosmetically challenged (some gaffa tape round the right-side-front indicator because of a cracked fairing) but mechanically nice. Done plenty of 2-up trips on it, dosnt need servicing for 2000 miles either

2k?

Blackbird or Fazer thou, no question, both are very capable 2 up, both are very reliable, and both are pretty fast.

Well, after a long time deliberating and watching ebay like a hawk, I had decided to buy a cheap 600 sports tourer as the best compromise, as a minimal investment until I know if my wife is happy as a pillion.

Then the heart won, and I'll be picking up my Blackbird at the weekend biggrin

Haha excellent!

You've made the right choice, I'd love to have a go on a blackbird! They just seem so right.

Enjoy and get some pics up

It's a blue one, here's a picture from the advert:

I can think of a few upgrades for it already!

I went for a little ride today, I feel like my first time out on the 125! I got a bit better after a few miles, but damn is that thing heavy! I feel like I've lost a stone just pushing it about on the drive! I'm looking forward to nicer weather so I can get some miles on it biggrin

I went out for a ride on mine last weekend on some lovely twisty roads near Alton (a friend was on a demonstrator S1000R). I'd forgotten how smooth and fizzing the Blackbird is – such a satisfying bike to punt through some sweeping bends at a decent lick. I find myself riding it like a 600 using 2nd gear until about 60-70mph just to make use of that top end. Good choice!

I'm sure it was the pushing that tired you, learn your lesson!!

Push less, ride more!
