Horrice goes sking
Jeeesus, that brings back memories, 48k, rubber keys. Seems like yesterday. I now feel decidedly old (but not ancient like some on here). I am now ready to be judged.
Thwy havent forgoten the past thou, these and much more are shown off(and played) as you walk in the building..the average age of the staff made me feel older than the games..

We had calculators and digital watches when I was at School.
And a ZX81 with 1k of RAM was state of the art. seemed over the next few years I always backed the failing niche computer...until I eventually saved up for a 286 IBM clone

I dip in and out, and occasionally try to comment with decent data about the odd technical thing - especially if it involves racing.
But basically, I know my place, at the back, in the cheap seats
I always find your posts informative and interesting, id like to see more, but id like to see more of the real you. They come over as rather sterile if you will (I mean that in the nicest possible way), your rather polite and possibly too informative. It would be nice if your personality popped through on posts, I imagine with your background that there must be a character in there. But basically, I know my place, at the back, in the cheap seats

Went in to the loft the other day and found my old school computer a BBC Master with a 5 1/4 floppy drive and my old ZX Spectrum with Horrice goes sking, Daily Thompsons Decathalon and some 'they sold a million' games
My younger family members (and even the misses) looked at me strange, misses said what the fks that
About 2years ago I found my old Atari 600 in the loft with its cassette tape drive and some games. everything still worked and I sold it on e-bay for almost as much as I originally paid for it. More of a clique in BB than any other part of PH.
I'd say that is a fair point, and I agree. I don't have a lot to do with BB anymore for exactly that reason, and ultimately I'm one of half a dozen or so individuals (most have now gone as well) who originally lobbied Ted to introduce a bike specific section in the first place, it's a shame but by their nature forums are fluid, living things that are constantly changing and evolving, live with it or move on it's the same choice we all face and certainly not worth getting uptight about. mel said:

everyone on here gets on, unlike the rest of ph, it might seem a bit of a clique at first but once you start posting you will become part of that. Im hundreds of miles away from most of the guys down south but I still can have banter with them, even if ill never meet them.
compare it to other sites and id say bb is best, mind you I just got banned from Scottish bikers today.
