I'm relatively new here and to be honest I didn't really join to post, more to read and learn. But saying that, I've met quite a few from here and in my experience it's far from cliquey. All I would say to people who think it is cliquey is find others in here with similar interests to yourself and get involved. If you can't find others with similar interests then maybe this is not the place for you.

Nobody else on here likes 1920s bikes. Guess I can't join the clique Luckily I'm not a middle manager but am quite fragile (this is what I've learned from BB today ) so maybe I'll survive?

I'm only kidding around; we appreciate your relic evangelism, srob. Unfortunately, I like mod cons such as electric start and functional brakes. My last purchase was less than £1500.
I know, you middle managers don't want all that fuss of using your arms and legs to start and actually ride a bike Our AJS cost the princely sum of £5.

Double your money - I offer £10...
Actually, I nearly had to bump-start the bike this weekend. I failed in my attempt - surrounding was too flat :| Thankfully, it turned out to be a dodgy wire from the starter button. Civilised motoring returned.
Sold the carb for 50 quid later the same year so doesn't owe much!Actually, I nearly had to bump-start the bike this weekend. I failed in my attempt - surrounding was too flat :| Thankfully, it turned out to be a dodgy wire from the starter button. Civilised motoring returned.
And you see, a memorable motorcycling experience that made you feel like a man
although making woos excuses about the land being flat is a bit pencil neck...
