Will be there. Have now found the headlights for my road / track bike and will endeavour to put them in on Sunday. Look out for a very shabby 98 red seat R1 with ropey fairing and blue tank. Concours she is not!
Also going to Horse & Harrow, West Hagbourne on Thu 14 July, weather and work dependant.

Well, I hope you all enjoyed it. I definitely did, and got a nice place on the front row of the classics. Wow - there were thousands there today. I fair ran my little legs off, the arthritis is really throbbing now. Worth it though, some tasty bikes there. I was amazed at how quiet and respectable-sounding most of the Brit classics were.
Great afternoon/eve.
Pete
PS I later removed the fact sheet from its 'naff' position and placed it on the seat lol

Went for the first time in a few years, broke down entering the village itself (charging issues at the moment!) and had a wander round. In comparison to previous years the organisers have been a lot more efficient in getting the bikes safely parked away from the road than in past years but it is killing the atmosphere a bit.
Saw John McGuiness cheerfully signing autographs and then bump started the R1 and raced the setting sun home with no headlamps, indicators, brake lights or working instruments - bloomin' thing!

I went, sorry didn`t see your bike petemate, it was absolutely rammed, but I did see John Mcguinness though, didn`t take any photos ether, lots of nice bikes there as always.
Never mind - proud as I am of my efforts, they paled into insignificance whenI clocked all the other classics, esp all the Brit ones, a lot of models of which had previously owned. Yes, even a Vincent. I did enjoy listening to all the BSAs and Triumphs arriving - they sounded so civilised and looked great.
Moulder - you took some great pics. I did take a lot but my phone was not set right somehow, or maybe it was the light or too much sun. They all came out cr@p.
