Is it nicked?
I only ask because if you turn up at Brands with that, the local bib will consider it nicked until proven otherwise. On a recent bike track day at Brands I am reliably informed ten bikes were tagged.
They were bypassing all the bikes with plates and going stright for the track only bikes

Why are you asking if it is nicked, have you not rad the OP?I only ask because if you turn up at Brands with that, the local bib will consider it nicked until proven otherwise. On a recent bike track day at Brands I am reliably informed ten bikes were tagged.

No it's not nicked, I've got the V5 etc and it's fully road legal on a daytime MOT.I only ask because if you turn up at Brands with that, the local bib will consider it nicked until proven otherwise. On a recent bike track day at Brands I am reliably informed ten bikes were tagged.

Surprised not to see a quick shifter listed in the mods (unless I missed it).
Will make it a lot more fun on track.
Worth looking at a Healtech FI Tuner if you haven't already got it mapped.
No it hasn't got one yet, I've only just got it but I'll look into getting one ;-) cheers Will make it a lot more fun on track.

I suppose I'd better explain. I have an old R1 which I was thinking of making into a track only bike as I have a bike trailer. I'm freinds with the local bib. They warned me about turning it into a track bike. The bib in my area have apparently been tasked with going to a high number of bike trackdays, looking for track only bikes and running them through their system. They also sit at the locla petrol station for the stream of track only bikes which popped out for a fill up.
If the bike has ever been nicked in its past they will likely confiscate the bike and make you present documents at the local copshop. Its a non toll policy due to the very very high numbers of stolen bikes circulating in the track only bike world.
If your bike has even been stolen and recovered you will likely get swept up in this through no fault of your own. So the advice was to keep a track bike like a standard road bike to avoid this as you won't fall into their capture criteria.
