BMW dealer recommendation.

Evening all,

I'm looking to drop in on a couple of BMW dealers in a week or two to have a chat with a view to getting a new S1000RR. Probably N Oxford BMW or Cotswold BMW, as they appear to be my most local dealers. I'm located in Wilts.

Does anyone have any personal experience of these?

N Oxford is my local, they seem very helpful everytime i speak to them. Didn't get my S1000RR from there though.

I use Bahnstormer in Alton, been pleased so far, nearest to me is actually in Dorchester but I have always found them a bit snooty and very 'GS/Tourer centric' so I don't use them but many do so perhaps it is me

Stone Cold - cheers for the heads up on Bahnstormer - pretty decent ride down to there from here (been to Snells Ducati a few times).

Quick bump to tie this up.

I was a bit late in the day for an S1000RR due to stocks being run down in anticipation of next years model. Coupled with a cracking 0% deal running until the end of the month I thought it time I pulled my finger out.

Rang around all the dealers named above on Thursday; Glos didn't have any left at all, I never even heard back whatsoever from Alton re my question of availability and N Oxford only had a grey/white model. I was all set to go for this one right up until Friday when he managed to source a black/red/white model which I much prefer.

I dealt with Nathan in the Oxford dealer, nice fella, really chilled about me taking the demo bike out for as long as I wanted. Took that out yesterday. What a bike! I love it. I was sold on it within 5 minutes. Order placed and now I'm counting the days :-)
