BSB Brands Hatch GP weekend
Discussion
BSB seems to have been a slow burner this year but the schedule gets a bit busier from this weekend.
FP1 underway now-so who's gonna come out on top at Brands ? "Home" favourite Byrne, local team Lloyds GB Moto either Walker or Ellison, or is Brookes going to get the R1 round without dropping off at Druids, and will Egor's mate Bridewell fulfill his expectations :?
Then,of course, has Kiyo got the BMW to work as well at BH as he did at Knockhill ?
Looking forward to it either way (secretly still want Kiyo to come good )Especially as I won some dosh on Kiyo winning here on the Ten Kate WSB Blade a few years back.
Enjoy.

Lol bridewell didn't do bad 6th, trouble is he's been on the same bike too long
See brookes has announced he's looking to leave after this season and head to wsbk, will be a blow to the championship if they don't replace him with somebody able to give shakey a run for his money.
Good to see hopkins on the pace ending up 5th a place behind kiyo (who also wants to head to wsbk)
Another interesting bit of news is traction control team boss keith flint has swopped risspoli's suzuki for a yam for the rest of the season.

A lot of rumours around aren't there-usual at this time I guess. I saw Kiyo's comments too but I think he wants BSB championship then WSBK championship. Shows his motivation's back but I wonder what team/bike he would be on-especially since BMW has practically withdrawn support in WSBK. Dare say his Honda loyalty points would shoot up if he can win BSB this year & maybe get back on one.Be interesting to see how everything pans out for all.

So his lack of pace wasn't down to him constantly changing bike settings without seemingly any plan as to what he actually wanted ?I was never into bike racing when he won his titles so i've only ever seen the media hyped constantly under performing version so i'm quite enjoying seeing the other version.

I think shakey will win both but looking forward to brookes and kiyo barging there way up from row 3, trouble is this is just the situation brookes pushes too hard and bins rather than just take a few points.
After announcing he wanted to return to wsbk next year binning it twice in qualy wasn't his best move.

Such a good 1st race and I'm really happy to see how Kiyo is riding, it's like he was years ago, he's found that confidence and feeling again. Knockhill wasn't a one off, today has shown that, great racing.
I missed him when he won his titles so for me this is a revelation, he's quite a complex character isn't he.Hoping for more of the same in race 2.
Shaun muir racing have done a 2 year deal with andy reid but it's not clear if that's for super sport or even superbike?
