Good story! I see they supply Alpina their exhausts now too. Seem to be going from strength to strength.

Yes, it was a good article. Anyone saying 'accra-poe-vick' should be lumped in with the 'Gixxam8' crowd and shot. Fact.

Anyone who's actually bought one will know it's actually pronounced... "Hooow Foooooookin' moooooch!!!"

The A is silent obviously.

I said that when I found the invoice for mine & discovered what the previous owner had paid six years earlier.

Crashed my bike at the weekend on track on the right side. I have a high level Akra on my bike and barring a few scrapes on the end can and a new sticker needed it held up brilliantly. Fantastic exhausts.

They'd be a darn sight cheaper if they didn't stamp their logo everywhere...

LOL

actually.. one of the reasons for the price (besides superb fit and OEM type of product testing) is the use of cast titanium pieces in construction for which they have their own foundry.. however, this gives them the opportunity to do things that others cant.. such as titanium primary collector on a turbo car..

Nice exhaust but i think if i was going to spend money on my bike in a effort to improve performance i might be inclined to start with the suspension. forks rear shock brakes etc.

great info-journalism, enjoyed. An addition of a short vid of the production process/factory would top it off.
