Going to look at another bike on Friday, 1990 Suzuki VX800 (black) with 11,000 on the clock, its in very good condition (according to the photo's I have seen) and has a service history with all its paperwork, receipts for work done etc. and a stack of old MOT's. It’s an Import and has had speedo converted to MPH.

Just got off the phone to Bennetts, to add this bike to my policy would cost me an extortionate price of £3.57 with an admin charge of £30, I don’t think that’s too bad, mind you the admin charge seems a bit high as they will just email me the paperwork anyway, hey ho, £33.57 to insure a second bike. Happy days.

On the other end of the scale, the cheapest I could get a TPFT quote for on the 250 in London
with 0 NCB was £1000 laugh

I blame Loon. I hear that 90% of every admin fee in the land goes to him to keep him in M3's and HP4's.

eBike: six quid to add a CRF450R supermoto (with a long list of mods) to my R1 policy. All done online. No admin fee. biggrin

Its not the purchase price, its the replacement engines that are the killer.

Must be a cracking expenses sheet!
