Lighten up dude, its not a race, its meant to be a bit of fun. I've also had ALOT more practice than you at it. Plus, your only expected to do a 1.29 on a 600
Also to have decent lines, the chaps from no limits said there was nothing wrong considering my lack of experience and it was my first time, I think he was just being nice though.
if I went to him first thing next time they could easily get a fair few seconds off my lap times they said.
having a camera recording it is a massive help as well, I can see where I braked too early, where I missed apex's, turning in too early, where I should have been on the throttle etc. Gives me something to work on as you don't really realise it when your concentrating on riding.
I'm just rather critical of my riding I don't like doing something and being ste at it. Still had loads of fun though and definitely want to go back.
It did become tiresome hearing the suspension guy, instructors and few others saying I need to get track tyres

He'll piss all over me with a 1:27 that's an epic time.
Awww Schucks. Thanks Loon. Plan is to buy a ZX10R for next year. See if I can get further up te BSB superstock virtual grid. Only 2 seconds behind Connor cummins and 3 behind mcguinness. NEED more power thoughmckeann said:

This.Especially on your first visit to a track.
My times at Croft aren't staggering but my best memories aren't dabbling mid pack in the fast group a week before a race meeting trying to stick with BSS 600 back markers.
No.
Best memories are chasing down mates or trying to stay ahead of quicker mates - lap times could be 5 seconds slower or 0.05 seconds slower - it matters little.
If you're planning on a racing career then study that stopwatch at every opportunity - if you're there for the fun just enjoy the craic, give as much st as you take and enjoy the day!
And get some track specific tyres!
