Come on BN, I said BSB, not moto gp, gotta be realistic
lol.Neil, you look to be a fantastic rider, everyone that see's you says the same, you're safe when passing too you don't chop people and you seem to be a good lad.
Get yourself racing with loon, it would be a shame to see your talent go to waste.

I'm not wasting it. I'm enjoying it. I think racing would turn it into something stressful and expensive and i would lose the love. I just like riding my bikeNeil, you look to be a fantastic rider, everyone that see's you says the same, you're safe when passing too you don't chop people and you seem to be a good lad.

I'm slow as fk and the first to admit it. I'm racing with Cunny next year most likely, purely because that's been the plan and in all honesty I'll hold McKeann back.
We're all slow Si, at least you're out there racing and not just sitting in your armchair talking about it. xxxxxxmckeann said:

It can't be more expensive than all the days abroad you do. Anyway I am not trying to tell you what to do, it was only an observation.mckeann said:

Unfortunately the cost (even in a budget series) coupled with the politics and backbiting took their toll. On the way home one Sunday evening I realised the fun had gone. As quick as that!
Having said that Neil, while you enjoy your time on a track day, nothing will ever beat the buzz of lining up on the grid and going into that first corner

You may just have a point Neil. I had great fun whilst racing with only one weekend in over 3 seasons were it really clicked. Getting a 3rd in a field I had watched go off in the distance previously, was like winning the world championship to me.

Have to agree so far in my fledgling attempt at racing. The first corner is something else, I've never been in such a chaotic place, let alone on a bike. Strangely it was total fun and I was grinning like mad, despite being bumped and barged all over the place. It is bloody expensive though and I'm not sure I'll do more than one year at most.

I am into 10k this year on TD's, that is a drop in the ocean to what a lot of people spend on TD's.It is bloody expensive though and I'm not sure I'll do more than one year at most.

Sounds all too familiar mate, ying/yang & all that, but all said & done trackdays are fairly boring nowadays, none of the turn 1 fun...Unfortunately the cost (even in a budget series) coupled with the politics and backbiting took their toll. Ah but, every corner can be fun on a little bike on a trackday
sort of how i look at it nowadays, that 7r may be dogst slow in a straight line but it does bring a smile when you carve past mr 15k trackday bike. That said i havent done a TD since march, ive got a couple lined up in september and the modern classics lads are going to do one towards the back end just for a giggle but as you know, racing sort of takes over...

I wanted to see you guys at Anglesey but got called in to work sadly.
Oulton is only two miles away from me. Do you know what the race schedule is and what time your start is?
Not yet, it's likely to be about 1ish, but will confirm when the programme is announced. Oulton is only two miles away from me. Do you know what the race schedule is and what time your start is?
I will keep an eye out for more info too.
