They will survive, with a little help - and as an independent entity. They just need someone to give them a leg up, rather than treading on their neck.
They are a good club, with an excellent history. No I'm not buying them, as they're not for sale. But I will be giving them a hand to get themselves through a difficult patch.
They will survive and they will be active next year. I would hope that 2016 will see them restored to a full championship organiser again.

A brilliant club, a superb history, the days of top DP Riders vs TSGB boys were golden, they are the first race club i ever joined and the memories of 08/09 still live fresh, however i dont think anyone can deny the running of the club recently has been questionable. Well done for stepping in, in whatever basis it is.
I don't think any debate on what has happened, could have happened, should have happened has any real benefit at this late stage. Basically the DPMCC Board have done their best and for whatever reason(s) it hasn't worked out as they would have planned.
A CLUB is basically a unit made up of its constituent parts - those parts are its members. The most positive thing that ALL 2012, 2013 and 2014 members can/could do is to re-join Derby Phoenix in 2015. It's £25 and if you get enough multiples of £25 it WILL make a huge difference.
Even if you don't intend to race with Derby Phoenix / don't even intend to race, it's only £25 and most of us chuck similar amounts into collection jars for Dogs/Cats/Whales/Badgers (delete as appropriate) collections on a fairly regular basis. THIS is a motorcycle racing club and one that cannot simply be discarded and replaced later.
£25 for a club that has given racing fun and great times over the past 70 years. If we can't do that then we really are a bunch of saddo's. I haven't been a Derby Phoenix member since 1994 and I'm certainly going to join.

I certainly hope they do survive. I will be doing every round with them next year if so.
I think it has the best atmosphere in the paddock. Only other club I have raced with were Thundersport and imo it's too serious. Takes the fun out of club racing when everyone is treating it like BSB. Never been to a Hottrax round so can't comment on that. I like the look of NG though, I think if I was to do additional races to DP it would be with them.
