Need a rack for my Thundercat . . . not hauling masses, just prefer to get work stuff/gym kit bungeed on rather than in a rucksack.

Anyone any suggestions?

Thanks . . . .

Renntec do a sportsrack for a Thundercat.

I normally buy my pillion grab rails from Renntec and they fit well and work well. Their sportsracks look much the same but have a flat bit added on.

Fitted my new Renntec rack last night in preperation for my French trip starting on Sunday...Ive used them on both my GSXR600 and 750 for touring around..you dont need the box of course but they do unclip in seconds and you cant beat hard luggage.

As others have said, Rentec are the answer for racks - they do have a low carrying capacity as far as weight as concerned - I've bought & sold some on EBay in the past but they're usually about £40 new.

I'm itching to say something about the topbox on the GSXR1000 but having owned a K2 model, same shape as above, they do make a great distance machine, having run a rack and throwovers on mine.

OP - have you considered a magnetic tank bag or a tail pack as an alternative to a bag on a rack?

Thanks - reason I'd prefer a rack is that I already have about four bags I use for work, from 'manbag' to kitbag, depending on what I'm doing. Rentec it is!
