VFR 750 S/Stand problem
Discussion
Would it be possible to drill and tap so that the parts that wear are replaceable?
For example, an Allen screw in the bracket and a button-head Allen screw in the stand, or a piece of steel held to the bracket with a countersunk screw and a button-head in the stand.

It also looks like by welding and building it up its going to be a long difficult process due to the shapes involved.
I'm glad it's not just my bike that has done this! What bike is it that it is happened to on yours?

From what I saw it was quite an easy job, but there again, I have a top welder as a mate!

I have access to a mig and I've done a fair bit but nothing as technical as that.
