I've been moving house and decorating, so it's been an expensive month. I need to see if the office is going to pay the £450 in expenses they owe me first. But I'd be up for this. 150 miles is an easy trip out.

With all that domestic stuff you deserve a decent ride out! £20.00 for the ferry and a couple of tanks of fuel and the jobs a goodun

Andy & co, can you accommodate one more? I just need to make sure I have a childminder for the evening. Might be pushing a bit as I will have been out for the past two nights though, will know for sure tomorrow/Sunday.

I and a friend could be interested in this!

I'd be coming from Hertfordshire so if anyone is coming from a bit further north could meet at South mimms service station.

The ZXR has 100 mile tank range and may get a bit hurty, the BMW is complete opposite but doesn't like going over 70mph.

Will update as soon as I know a definite answer
Are you going?

If Andy & my childminder let me come, I'll be travelling from Herts so can meet at South Mimms.

I've got the best of both worlds compared to your bikes though - relatively small range & a complete & utter inability to cruise at proper sports bike speeds.

Sorry Andy, but I can't make this anymore. I was really hoping to, but my son will be home that particular weekend. Hope you have a cracking day out. If another day is planned in October, I'd still be up for it!

No problem Ade, with your busy life I thought you might struggle at the moment. Have a great weekend with Matt

Going to have to skip this one I'm afraid.
Something else has cropped up that involved two wheels and a turbo...

Here are the ferry details for those who fancy a change from the normal Sunday ride out. Plan is to ride down to Ypres, have a look around the trenches, have bit lunch and then head back. Nice and easy and a great little Euro taster for those that haven't done a left hand roundabout biggrin

Let me know who's booked, there are six of us so far

Will try to book this, this week. Do you have to register reg. number?

Yes, you need your name as it appears on your passport and your bike reg number when booking on line.

Below is a link to the booking page. Don't leave it too long as you may not get on the same ferry

Nice one TC!

The meeting place is 06:15 in the fuel part of the services, Junction 8 on the M20. That way it should limit confusion at the port! If anyone is south of there we can arrange another meeting further on.

Just need the weather to play ball now.

Done. Just fingers crossed for the weather! Andy, any preparation advice for those of us who have not gone abroad with a bike on a ferry or ridden abroad before?
