You're making me want to see Marquez lose.
A lot of people want him to too. Frankly if you're one of those people you're not a true fan of the sport. Like him or not, what he's doing is historic.

See Moto 3.
Watch Moto3 then. Or watch some club scooter racing, or gokarts. Don't you think riding those Motogp bikes is a different proposition? I want races for the racing funnily enough. I've not get much interest in watching moving billboards whizz around in a circle.
Dani has looked brilliant in spells (and underperformed for longer spells)
He was brilliant today, as was Lorenzo and Rossi. Very enjoyable race but .... The open bikes do keep interfering in the first few laps and allowing gaps to open up as the works bikes get past them. I Wonder if they should stop this tyre nonsense as it only helps the open bikes in qualifying and the first few laps.

Agree, the soft tyre just seems to allow bikes that shouldn't be near the front, get a start high up then just get in everyone's way. Herve said something similar before the race.He was brilliant today, as was Lorenzo and Rossi. Very enjoyable race but .... It's nonsense really.

I do watch Moto 3 (and bits of Moto 2, again, yawn). You asked me what I wanted to see in a race I told you. To be Moto GP was ok, hardly compelling. Best battle was between Iannone and Dovi, everyone was spread out for the last 10 laps.

Whenever you get to the pinnacle of any type of racing, particularly on prototype machines, you don't get 10 abreast into the corners. The limits are so high and the ability of the riders is so high, the gaps tend to open up. Motogp is a different league of machine to moto3, Closer racing comes with lower performance machines or much more restrictive regulations, there are loads of series that will give you what you want. I want races for the racing funnily enough. I've not get much interest in watching moving billboards whizz around in a circle.
If you don't like it, fair enough, don't watch it. I'll keep reveling in these amazing machines and brilliant riders anyway.

I did enjoy it, thought Dani was awesome today along with JL.Frankly if you're one of those people you're not a true fan of the sport. Like him or not, what he's doing is historic.

I'm not too fussed who wins but I don't want to see the same bloke clear off into the distance every Sunday. To say people aren't true fans unless they do is a little odd.

Ped robot has won a lot of races, most successful no wc winner there has been. If it wasn't for injuries I'm sure he'd have won one. I'd hardly call him a no hoper. This year hasn't been great though.
Mmm not sure I'd agree...., 3rd, 2nd, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 4th, 3rd, 3rd, 2nd, 4th, 1st.... Marc is great to watch. Even today, the battle with Ianone (I think Marc pushed the limits of what's OK there) and when he was trying to get back at Rossi he was entertaining. I don't understand how he gets the bike sideways and turned on that ridiculously tight line and still holds the apex.
I think he will become one of the greats so I don't mind watching him murder the field as long as he's riding the wheels off the Honda. But I do want to see battles and today's race was very good. Dani is capable of winning plenty of races, I wish he'd bring that form more regularly. Hoping Yamaha bring the fight as well, I'm sure they've closed the gap.

If you want the best racing then watch club racing. If you want to watch the best racers then watch MotoGP. MotoGP is at such a high level the riders make very few mistakes and as a result some will find it processional; personally I find it fascinating watching these guys ride the razors edge between crashing and winning for entire race distance.I want races for the racing funnily enough.
