Incase it hasnt been answered, yes your bike now thinks its in netral as clutch is in, and goes into neutral mode, which is a limp map.

Ok, this makes sense. Would this therefore also be the cause of the FI warning light then?

Thanks very much for the info

No, do you have an aftermarket exhaust on it?

Yep a scorpian pipe, although this has been on for over a year and never caused an issue.

Literally the first ride since changing the lever this has occured.

This is the thing, the levers dont touch the switch at the moment at all. So the switch is permanently out. So the bike believes the clutch lever has been pulled. Therefore it allows it too start, and run fine.

However, since this lever has been fitted, the bike runs, but the FI indicator has started popping up after a few minutes, so im wondering if the bikes ECU is thinking the clutch is permanently pulled and confusing it.
Stick something to the lever so it actuates the switch correctly? I've had to so I can start mine with cheap levers before.

This is what i think im going to do. What did you use and was it just a quick fix or did you screw or weld something?

I may stick the old lever back on this eve and take it for a quick spin, just to see if the FI indicator pops up.

Cheers again for all the help guys
